I just think home ownership is just so much better of a deal. Aren't you basically throwing your money away every month? At least with a home you are building equity. These people got in to their homes with low interest rates and when the interest rates started rising, so did their mortgages. There are many people in America defaulting on their loans and losing their homes. It sounds like some heavy researching in home loans sounds like the make-or-break situation here.
