For me, finance is something that I'm enthusiastic about. I love working with money and accounting and investing. Seeing dollar values on various ideas really gets me going and gets me excited. Enthusiasm and passion are essential and those will eventually lead to money. If the enthusiasm is for the money and not for what you are doing, it shows in most cases. Find something that you love to do and would do even if there was no money involved and then figure out how to make money at it.
