How I Will Be Rich

I was recently tagged over at Moolanomy to write seven random things about myself. Apparently this has been going around for a while but I’ve only seen it in the last couple of days. It sounds like a good change of pace and I’m personally honored that I was picked. I guess it just means that more and more people are learning of my blog.

1. I’m a desert rat - Basically I spend almost every weekend, during the winter, out in the desert riding motorcycles and dune buggies. I just can’t get enough of it. I love camping and engines and the smell of gasoline.
2. I play guitar - I’ve played guitar for probably about 12 years now. I played in a band when I was in high school and two different bands since in college.
3. I am a huge San Diego Chargers fan - All year long, I’m excited about and looking forward to football season. I love the Chargers. I’m a sports fan in general. I like the Padres too but I get so excited on Sunday mornings for the Charger game.
4. I am a programmer as a hobby - My job has nothing to do with programming but I learned qbasic when I was in elementary school and have since learned about 5 other programming languages. When I’m bored, I’ll write little programs that do basic little tasks.
5. I design websites as a side job - The company that I work for is wholesale and I created their website. A few of the retailers that we sell to have been so impressed with our company’s website and the fact that I designed it, they hired me to do theirs.
6. My girlfriend and I just got a puppy - Alana and I adopted a little terrier. We went to the local animal shelters looking for a dog but fell in love with a little puppy. A puppy is a little more work than we were hoping to deal with but so far he’s been so cool and we love him.
7. I’m a beer connoisseur - I like beer. I don’t drink excessively but I do love trying different beers and I’ve tried so many different beers from all over the world. So far my favorite has been German Dunkel.
