Tue 2 Oct 2007

I think it’s funny because yesterday I posted that my goal for the month of September was to reach 50 subscribers… Well as of September 30th, I only had 48 subscribers and then on October 1st, the very first day of the next month, I’m up to 52 subscribers. I met my September goal the very first day of October. Oh well. I thought that was funny and I thought I’d share.
If you don’t know what my Top 10 Tuesday is: Every Tuesday I go out and find all the best blog posts from all of the blogs I read and then I narrow it down to my top 10. These are my favorite reads and I think that readers of this site will also enjoy them.
Here’s my list for this week:
- WalletRehab has Five Ways You Waste Money While Trying to Save it. A great post about how people go out of their way to be frugal but, by doing so, actually end up spending more.
- A new site called DotComPreneur gives some great advice on getting things going. Sometimes you’ve just got to go for it. Don’t plan so much and just take steps to get things rolling.
- Dumb Little Man has an excellent post about Controlling Your Clutter. This is something I’ve been actively trying to accomplish and have been talking a lot about here on this blog.
- The Digerati Life talks about 8 Lessons Learned From The Cheapet Family in The Nation. A great read. As always, The Digerati life constantly posts great articles.
- Blueprint for Financial Prosperity gives 8 Personal Finance Lessons Learned From Monopoly. It’s a fun game and here is some advice that you can take away from it.
- Money Smart Life has 6 Ingredients for Generating Passive Income. That’s the ultimate goal, making money with very little effort.
- FreeMoneyFinance has Some Strategies For Saving Money on Travel. I love to travel and I love to save money.

And for people who are interested in what’s going on over at our other site, Be Healthy and Relax, Joe has a great post about The Importance of Good Running Shoes.
That’s my list for this week. Enjoy.
