I’ll back up what Pinyo said 100% – missing two posts, considering what was going on, is nothing. I think if I were you I would participate in more carnivals. Every time I participate in one it broadens my readership and frankly challenges me to broaden my topics which is not a bad thing.

I’m glad I could send some readers too – it helps my blog, too, when I can send them to visit quality blogs!

Those are really well thought out goals. You shouldn’t fret about missing two posts; especially due to an emergency.

Regarding the carnivals, it doesn’t hurt to participate in more if you want to highlight your other posts. I participates in 3-4 per week and some in several non-personal finance carnivals.

I am glad I was able to send you some readers in October. I hope I can do more in November.
