Great advice for staying on a budget.  Tracking daily expenditures is probably the hardest part for me.  I&#039;ve tried keeping a log book with good results, but staying on top of it takes real commitment.  Another plus to the log-book strategy though is it gets my friends talking when I whip it out at lunch.  Any other tips about quick, easy, effective ways to track your spending?

Those are some great tips to staying on a budget.  I also recommend using some type of personal finance software to keep on track.  I&#039;ve used both Mint and Quicken, and they are great (and actually Quicken just bought Mint...).
